EquipHer is a 52-week mother-daughter programme that gives your daughter the relationship wisdom, language, and discernment she needs — before she needs it.
Built by Irene Bangwell | @raisinggirls.ng — for Christian families who want to do more than say "be careful."
Most daughters leave home knowing they should "be godly." Very few leave knowing what to look for, what to listen for, or what to walk away from.
EquipHer closes that gap.
It is a 52-week guided learning experience for mothers and their daughters — working together, one week at a time, through the conversations most families never have. Every week includes a short teaching video, a reading note, and a structured reflection task that mother and daughter complete side by side.
EquipHer is for mothers (and fathers, grandparents, aunties, mentors) of girls aged 15–21 who want to give their daughter a solid foundation — not just warnings, but tools.
This is not a purity talk. It is not a lecture series. It is a guided conversation system that builds, week by week, until your daughter has a framework she can actually use — in real situations, with real people, without losing herself in the process.

I am Irene Bangwell — educator, curriculum designer, Bible teacher, and mother.
I built EquipHer because I kept seeing the same pattern: girls who left home godly and naive. Daughters who knew how to pray but did not know what to look for. Mothers who loved their daughters deeply but did not know how to start the conversation.
Nobody told us. So we invented. And we dated our inventions.
I have spent over a decade building tools for families — through Raising Girls NG, through my Ready 2 Date book series, through one-on-one coaching and community teaching. EquipHer is where all of that work comes together: a programme rooted in scripture, informed by research, and built for the real world your daughter is navigating.
I believe your daughter deserves more than "be careful." She deserves a map.

This is not a book club. This is not a worksheet. This is a full year of structured preparation — delivered week by week, so neither of you has to carry it alone.
Every week, one full video lesson of 10 to 15 minutes. Long enough to go deep, short enough to watch together. Each covers one topic, one truth and one clear application.
Practical, guided action steps so your daughter knows exactly what to do before the next session.
Reflective content that goes deeper than the video. Your daughter reads, sits with it, and comes back ready to talk.
An introductory series just for mothers, on your own login, before you and your daughter begin the weekly lessons together. Because your perspective matters. Because you are not just a delivery mechanism — you are a model.
You and your daughter join a space with other mothers and daughters on the same journey. Real conversations, real encouragement, real accountability.
Periodic group sessions with Coach Irene throughout the year to answer questions, deepen learning, and celebrate milestones.
This programme was designed to be completed together. You walk through it with her — week by week, conversation by conversation — until she is ready.
This is exactly what one week looks like: the video lesson you watch together, and the Task Note and Reading Note that go with it. Plus a first look at Mother's Lens, the introductory series for mothers.
The ideas behind EquipHer, in book form. A simple, low-risk way to begin the conversation at home.
EquipHer is our brand new programme, relaunching with its first cohort in November 2026. We will share testimonials as soon as they become available.
You can’t go back and prepare her for what has already happened. But you can start now, before the next door opens and before she makes a decision she cannot unmake. Give her words, a framework and a mother who has already walked the road with her.
One year. Fifty-two weeks. One conversation at a time.
That is all this asks of you.
EquipHer is a commitment. It asks for your time, your presence, and your honesty. If you're ready to give your daughter that — she is ready to receive it.
