What families told us

We called 42 families and asked what the Squad has done for their daughters.

We spoke to families who are with us every week and families who come and go. Four things came up again and again.

1
The mentor is the anchor.

Girls who had drifted from everything else had not drifted from their mentor. Even the parent who rated us lowest said her daughter looks forward to her mentor check-ins. One girl turned around completely after a single long one-to-one.

2
The teaching shows up when it’s needed.

Mothers told us their daughters met hard first moments prepared and steady: the body-safety and self-esteem lessons showing up at the very moment they were built for. Not one of the 42 parents said the teaching was weak.

3
Girls carry it on their own.

Daughters who keep going through school changes, who read a whole Bible plan by themselves. One girl was quietly doing every assignment without us knowing. Another’s mother printed the lessons when the phone broke, so she wouldn’t miss one.

4
Families stay.

Parents who had real frustrations still told us they plan to return. One mother who could no longer make the schedule work asked to pass her place to a family who couldn’t afford it. Another, after weeks away: “No challenge from the Squad’s end at all.”

Our mentors, rated by parents

The mentor is the anchor.

Girls who had drifted from everything else had not drifted from their mentor. You choose your daughter's mentor yourself, from those with places left in her age group, and book each monthly call at a time that suits you. After every call, parents rate the mentor on seven questions.
